How to avoid this popular paypal scam

As many of our amazing group members shop online, we would like to assist in being more diligent and safe… here is another common paypal scam happening (to avoid)

You first get an email with an invoice or price estimate that looks legit… because part of it is. Through paypal, anyone can send an invoice or price quote to any other user ….

Here is the shady part

(don’t click on any links), just go to paypal.com and look at your notifications

The invoice sure looks legit, they even added a nice paragraph in the Seller note… the phone number they list will bring you to their scam hotline where they try to trick you to give them over the money. And the Bill to email is one of their scam emails too…

You can mark these emails as spam and even report it to paypal by forwarding it to phishing@paypal.com to let them know
