No need to eject the SIM card or reboot (for any phone with the SIM manager that can allow you to “disable a SIM”. Newer Samsung phones support this. If you don’t have this option, then you will need to physically eject the SIM and reboot your phone.

  • Just disable the SIM card (or both) in settings (or eject if you don’t have this option) — In settings, search for “SIM Manager”
  • Turn on airplane mode…
  • Enable Wi-Fi and connect to a network
  • Activate your VPN to the US (or other region)
  • Go to App Info for the Galaxy Store
  • Clear Cache and Data for that app
  • Now open the Galaxy Store again
  • If you want to keep it in that region, click on the app icon and select “keep open” (only available on newer Samsung devices). Now it will be in the region you want till the next time you shut off your phone.
  • And download any apps you want!

A good way to check if it works is to look for an app that is only available in certain regions (not your existing one), such as Good Guardians (suite of tools from samsung), or SamsungTVPlus which are both available in the US and select regions.
