Flutter Work Shop for beginners

What is Flutter?

So, before getting into the details of what we will do at the Work Shop, let me give you a brief introduction to Flutter.

Flutter is an open-source mobile application development framework created by Google. It is used to develop applications for Android and iOS, as well as being the primary method of creating applications for Google Fuchsia. Flutter works with existing code, is used by developers and organizations such as AliBaba, Google Ads, Tencent and more around the world, and is free and open source.

We, at Aviabird are extensive users of Flutter. We have three Apps in production with more than 50K monthly users!(So, you can say we do know a little bit of Flutter, hehe.)

Flutter uses Dart as a programming language.

The four core tenets of Flutter is that it is beautiful, fast, productive, and open.

Don’t feel like reading another documentation and making another Hello World App? We got you. Just follow the Installation instructions and join us on 27th April!

Please come with the Flutter environment set up along with the Demo App up and running. We don’t want you to look at us code, rather code with us!

What will you learn at the Workshop?

In Flutter, everything is a Widget. We will make a small App that will give all the fundamentals to kick start your Flutter journey.

Forms in Flutter.

Every mobile application uses forms in one way or another. Most basic use is for filling in auth data.

Lists to show data.

Every mobile application uses lists to show data such as menu items, tasks, posts etc. Hence list is also a building block of mobile apps.

HTTP API calls.

Most mobile apps connect with cloud and making HTTP API calls is at the core of it. You will learn how to make calls and show that data in lists.

Where and when?
