Because it identifies upcoming personnel and skill deficiencies within your organization, HR gap analysis is also sometimes called a skills gap analysis or workforce gap analysis. Conducting an HR gap analysis can help you set your organization up for long-term, sustainable success.

This analysis helps your organization plan for growth, project hiring needs for your future workforce, understand the skills and experience in your current workforce, and develop strategies for overcoming the gap between the two.

HR gap analysis can help your organization stay in front of changes in your workforce, both with growth and downsizing.
