Strong community and networks of individuals and companies play a key role in a nascent industry such as Aerial Mobility. Conferences facilitate dialogue, knowledge-sharing, business opportunities and support healthy competition. The Aviary Project’s community is dedicated to supporting the Aerial Mobility industry and we’re excited to partner with Revolution.Aero Europe who is delivering an important and impactful event in London.

Revolution.Aero is dedicated to the future of aviation — including business aviation, aircraft, space, and other flying things. It is the global meeting place for people who are reshaping, rethinking and revolutionizing the second century of powered flight. They are bringing over 60 speakers from all over the world to London to discuss topics ranging from electrification of flight to drone deliveries and urban air mobility.

We are excited to be hearing from eVTOL manufacturers such as Volocopter, Bell, Boeing, Joby, SureFly and UK’s leading eVTOL company Vertical Aerospace. Everyone will be asking them the same question:

“When are we going to see the first commercial flights in urban environments?”

Volocopter has already announced recently that it is planning the first-ever urban demonstration flights in Singapore later this year. This will be a major step in showcasing VTOL technology in a real environment and gaining the trust of the public and regulators which is an essential ingredient in deploying this technology in cities.

Volocopter — one of the pioneer eVTOL companies — is envisioned to be flying over San Francisco, USA

Aerial Mobility is not just about the vehicles themselves; safe and efficient operations rely on supporting services such as digital and physical infrastructure and a strong regulatory framework. Damian Kysely, The Aviary Project Founding Partner and Infrastructure Manager at Skyports, will be discussing benefits and challenges of using cargo drones and his perspective on infrastructure deployment to enable passenger and cargo drone landings and take-offs, including charging.

The Revolution.Aero’s agenda offers much more over 2 full days — visit their website to learn more about the 60+ speakers, presentations and panel sessions and you can still reserve tickets!
