Design At Aviatrix
As a company, we are about a decade old. Over these years, we have developed groundbreaking technology in the domain of networking and security. As we’ve matured, we’ve embarked on a new journey to define enterprise design for our products and understand how our users benefit from the expertise and technology we offer.
Three short years ago, the Aviatrix design team was nonexistent. Thanks to visionary leadership, we’ve grown into a diverse and global team of interaction and visual designers, qualitative and quantitative researchers, engineers, and part-time writers. Today, the team is dedicated to making network and security effortless, efficient for our enterprises customers.
We believe we will forever change the way people manage and secure networks; and in the process co-create and raise the bar for design standards in enterprise.
Design Publication Platform
This is where the Aviatrix Design team gives back to the community by sharing our tales in the hopes that the reader might learn something from our starry-eyed obsessions, missteps and blunders, and occasional flashes of brilliance. We’ll delve into the details of what went right and wrong, and what we learnt along the way.
We’ve got some big challenges ahead of us — from scaling up our product platforms to building new functionality that we hope will change the way people think about networking in the cloud.
In all honesty, our motivations for publishing aren’t entirely selfless — we want your expert eyes on us, igniting a discourse and daring us to be better. We came to this publication platform for discussion as it is one for distribution, so follow us and let us know what you think!
There are many voices and thoughts within the team, and everyone has something to share. This publication is a platform to host and discuss them. Some might be directly related to the products we design, while some might be thoughts about the art of design, or tips and tricks from the process and the tools we use, or something about the humans who make designing at Aviatrix an abundance of joy.
We believe that sharing our design process, challenges, and triumphs is essential to fostering a collaborative community.
