🔵 I Floated the Blue Dot Before Nebraska Did🔵

As the 2024 November election draws near, texts from Kamala Harris and the DNC campaign are coming in more frequently by the day.

I’ve donated a few times because I believe they are the party that will preserve our democracy.

I didn’t want to look back and think I hadn’t done my part in defeating Trump and his MAGA/Project 2025 agenda.

Then, I took it a few steps further.

I didn’t join the Medium MPP Program, but I became a Friend of Medium anyway, because I liked supporting other writers and having the yellow heart next to my profile picture.

So,

I cancelled my FOM membership and now donate the $10 membership difference to the DNC with each text.

Then, to further promote the cause.

I put two 🔵 dots next to the title of this story in support of the context here.

Voters in Nebraska are placing single blue 🔵 dot banners on their front lawns to show their support for Democrats and Harris.

The coincidence does not escape me here. I like to think I started the blue dot practice first.

Maybe you will consider doing something similar!
