I’m an Old Man and I Own it

I’m an old man

But I’m still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.

I’m an old man

I want to leave this life before or with my wife.

I’m an old man

My bucket list is on a Post-it note on my refrigerator.

I’m an old man

I wear tube socks because they are easier to put on.

I’m an old man

I call it a day earlier each day.

I’m an old man

I buy products based on how easily they open.

I’m an old man

Every short cut I took in life has caught up with me.

I’m an old man

Yesterday went by too fast and today got here too quickly.

I’m an old man

I have less of a need to be right.

I’m an old man

I still root for my kids with unwavering enthusiasm.

I’m an old man

I’m less interested in my share of anything.

I’m an old man

I’m ashamed of looking at any woman under 60.

I’m an old man

Being on time means being regular.

I’m an old man

I look back on more things than I look forward to.

I’m an old man

I sneak up on mirrors.

I’m an old man

Doing nothing is a work in progress.

I’m an old man

I never thought about describing myself as being old.

I’m an old man

A good day is any day that I wake up.
