Golden State is up 3–0 in the 2018 NBA Finals and the fourth game tonight will determine if the Warriors will clinch the series on the road in Cleveland. Whether you’re a Cavs fan, Warriors fan, or just simply a basketball fan the atmosphere in Quicken Loans Arena is going to be insane for Game 4. What better time to go check it out?

For the first public trip created using AwayGame, we’re (hypothetically) headed up to Cleveland to watch LeBron vs Steph and KD! Below is a full schedule for the day built systematically using AwayGame and based on the preferences that we entered into the app. For this trip let’s say we like breweries, famous sights, coffee shops, upscale meals, and museums. Let’s check out what we’re up to today:

9:00 AM: We hit the road after work yesterday and got into town late last night. After a few hours of sleep, it’s time for breakfast at Beviamo Cafe. Known for its unique coffee creations and simple small plates, this coffee bar is the perfect place to start off our weekend.

10:00 AM: This one’s a given. We’re in Cleveland and like museums, so of course we’re stopping by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Established in 1983, this place is perfect to check out our favorite artists from The Rolling Stones to Run DMC.

1:00 PM: It’s lunchtime and our itinerary is bringing us to Blue Point Grille. Located in the heart of downtown, this seafood spot serves up delicious meals with a skyline view. This place is a can’t miss for the fine diner in Cleveland.

2:30 PM: After exploring the museum and having a big lunch, we’re gonna need a pick me up. It’s time for a quick stop at Gypsy Beans to get one of their specialty espresso drinks.

3:00 PM: After a re-energizing coffee who doesn’t want to start getting ready for the game in the best way possible: with beer. We’re off to the west side to check out another iconic Cleveland establishment: Great Lakes Brewing Co. Great Lakes offers us three floors of taps so they can fit in their countless local beers. Chances are you’ve had a Great Lakes brew before too.

5:30 PM: A trip to Cleveland isn’t complete without a trip to West Side Market. We’ll only have to cross the street to get there from Great Lakes and stroll the countless rows of local food and creations from northern Ohio.

6:30 PM: It’s dinner time and we’re headed towards the Arena for Panini’s Bar & Grill. This casual sports pub has great meals and cheap drinks and is only a stone’s throw away from Quicken Loans Arena, setting the stage perfectly for the game.

8:00 PM: It’s time to head into the arena! We have to make sure we have enough time to find our seats, catch the intros, and maybe grab another beer.

9:00 PM: NBA Finals Game 4. #DubNation or #AllForOne?

This itinerary was just one day created with the AwayGame app. While we don’t think anyone will go on super long sports trips, we’ll have support for trips up to TWO WEEKS long at launch!
