Introducing: AwayGame 1.0

It’s almost here!

The first version of AwayGame is nearing the end of development and we’re excited to get it in your hands soon! While we have so many amazing features planned for upcoming releases, this first public version will be full of initial options and capabilities to deliver you the perfect sports travel experience. For the first time, let’s go through the AwayGame app step by step to check out everything you can do with version 1.0.

1. Signup: You’ve seen something like this before. With AwayGame, you can choose to create an account with Facebook, Twitter, or an email and password, giving you the versatility to control how you link the app to your digital life. 2. Profile: The profile page is your hub within the app. This is where you can see your past trips, check your itinerary for upcoming trips and, most importantly, create new trips! Let’s get started making a new AwayGame…

3. Team, Date, and Time: First things first: who do you want to see? Whether you already know what game you want to go to or you want to discover one, this page is your first step to an awesome trip. 4. Game Select: Based on your team and dates, we’ll show you all the games you can go to. Go ahead, pick one! 5. Group Select: You might want to do something different with your family than you would with co-workers or friends. This is where you can let us know the context of your trip.

6. Dining: Are you a foodie or a fast-food lover? Or both? We got you covered. Let us know all the types of dining experiences you enjoy, and we’ll make sure your plate is full all trip. 7. Activity: Some people want to hike multiple miles and other people want to sit back and do literally nothing. With AwayGame, you can do either. Let us know how you want to spend your time and we’ll make sure the minutes fly by with fun. 8. Nightlife: With so many different scenes, it can be hard to know if you’re going to enjoy the vibe at a place you go to grab a drink. From wine bars to clubs, we’ll help you find the place for any mood.

9. Itinerary: Here’s where it gets REALLY good: the itinerary. This is the bread and butter of the app where we take all of your preferences, find the best stuff for you, and sort it into an awesome schedule. No worries if a few things look off, you can swipe between different options in every slot! Also, is something too far to walk? We’ll help you call an Uber. 10. More Info: The devil is in the details. Get more info on any activity in your itinerary like ratings, price point, review, location, and directions.
