Helder Silva

Header Silva is Portuguese and has always been in love with fashion and started making sketches as a hobby. He moved to Germany a few years ago looking for better professional opportunities and currently works for DAIMLER (Mercedes-Benz). For him, fashion has no limits and for that he is always creating unique pieces that reflect his ideas. With a mix of classic and modern lines, Helder loves to get ideas from different cultures. He believes that no matter where you come from and what’s your style, you should always feel good on your clothes. Is his second time collaborating with AWAYTOMARS.

Design number 2:

His original creation was a dress with a cape attached to it with an asymetric lapel. Our proposal was to maintain the asymmetry and add AWAYTOMARS’ aesthetics.

Design number 3:

Helder’s original sketch was a dress with layers following AWAYTOMARS’ identity

The result: The Fashion Show at ModaLisboa

On our AW17 edition of the ModaLisboa we wanted to present a different concept: we wanted our guests to experience the co-criation process live. For this we invited artists to intervene on the clothes that were presented in calico (a plain cotton fabric). Helder Silva’s dresses were transformed by the artists Ricardo Jorge and Marcelo Forte.
