AWAYTOMARS presented collection 602 celebrating the collective and democratic essence of the brand: a live co-creation experience (presented in form of art installation) where artists finalized all the pieces in front of the audience during the show. The result? The world’s first ever collection to be created and promoted at the same time, proving that there is still room for innovation within the fashion industry.
The 13 looks presented during the show were created by a collective of 602 designers. AWAYTOMARS 602 was then displayed in calico (something similar to a white canvas in artistic terms) and transformed as the 13 artists started their intervention during the event. The show ended in a more conventional way, with the just finalised pieces walking down the catwalk. Created and finalized by a collective of creative, the collection reflects the cultural explosion of all the parts involved.
