Quixey Confirms $60 Million in New Funding

Mobile app search company Quixey, who recently presented at the AWS Mobile Developer Loft Talks event, has confirmed $60 million in new funding. Great work, Quixey team!

Docker Acquires Canadian Startup Kitematic

Last week Docker acquired Kitematic, an open source interface that gets Docker running on your Mac and lets you control your app containers from a graphical user interface (GUI). Congratulations to both.

Lyft Has Raised $530 Million in a New Round of Funding

Ride-sharing company Lyft has closed a Series E round of funding, which it will use to expand its operation in the US. Nice work, Lyft team!

ShowShoe Wins McDonald’s Pitch Event at SXSW

A big shout out to the SnowShoe team, who won the McDonald’s Pitch Session “Reinventing the Restaurant Experience” at SXSW in Austin last Friday. If you’re in San Francisco, you can see them pitch at the AWS Pop-up Loft on March 24th.

Zuora Raises $115 Million in Its Latest Funding Round

Last week Zuora, a company that provides software that lets customers set up subscriptions for their products, announced an additional $115 million in funding.
