To help Echo Global Logistics in provisioning secure and approved AWS Service Catalog products via their service now portal we used the “AWS service catalog connector for Service Now” to integrate AWS Service Catalog and ServiceNow. This Connector allows the end users of ServiceNow to Manage, operate, and govern the AWS Service Catalog products securely via Service Now platform.

Some of the benefits of AWS Service Catalog and Service Now Integration are:

• ServiceNow “End Users” can easily view the AWS service Catalog products and portfolios in the ServiceNow portal.
• The ServiceNow End users can request to provision, update and terminate the AWS Service Catalog Products from their Service Now Portal.·
• The Service now “End Users” can also get the AWS cloud Management insights in the service now portal.”

Accentedge then worked with Echo to ensure their cloud operations were secure. The advantage of using AWS is that it allows for communications and operations to be transacted securely using cloud technology. With ransomware and other types of cyberattacks on the rise, the company could not afford to have its logistics operations systems compromised or they would soon lose customers to the competition.

AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) was used to ensure secure communication in the cloud. In addition, AWS Service Catalog and AWS Cloud Formation were used to streamline operations.
