As Axelar’s decentralized network continues to expand, strong ecosystem partners remain a key pillar in the path towards mainnet. As such, Axelar is excited to welcome Citadel.one to Axelar as an official validator partner. Citadel.one is a non-custodial Proof-of-Stake (PoS) platform that securely manages and stores crypto assets. It is currently running validators in more than 22 networks including Polkadot, Solana, Injective and more.

“Axelar Network is a great addition to the Citadel.one Validator universe. The future of crypto is cross-chain, so we believe that the Axelar Network’s use case will be an excellent market fit. Axelar has a unique approach to interoperability, and a network that is designed explicitly to frictionlessly connect all blockchain ecosystems, enabling them to communicate regardless of what languages they speak. Thus, we are delighted to join forces and are looking forward to exploring more collaborations in the future,” said Anton Pavlutsy, CEO of Citadel.one.

The Citadel.one platform participates in PoS consensus-driven projects where users can stake and delegate their assets, claim rewards, and follow the latest network proposals in the voting tab, as well as track their staked assets through a dashboard. By launching a validating node on the Axelar network’s testnet, Citadel.one brings their experience and expertise to the platform and will work with the team to test new features, releases, and more. Moving forward, Citadel.one intends to explore new collaboration opportunities with Axelar to build on the network and ecosystem.

Sergey Gorbunov, CEO and Co-Founder of Axelar commented: “We’re excited to partner with Citadel.one, as they are well known in the space for their commitment to running secure and reliable validators. Their experience managing nodes will be a great asset to Axelar as we continue to iterate through the testnet and beyond.”
