A Glimpse Of Axie Paris

A trip of a lifetime, that’s what could define this last week for me and many others that attended. Paris is such a wonderful place and it really grows on you, you never want to leave.
The second I stepped out of the plane and into the Parisian cold wind, I woke up, all my jetlag was wiped clean. There’s a special energy to this city, it’s full of ideas, streets rumbling with thoughts, the perfect place for minds to clash. And what better minds would you ask for rather than those in the Axie community?
The place was set and everyone started rolling in through the doors, greeted with Axie community members and some drinks. Different kinds of conversations filled the night, from gathering all solo tool builders into one amazing discord to talking about the meta and what Axie needs.
Ideas start flowing out and with one idea that emerges, another is birthed. I blame the city, its inspiration lit up the night and from the moment people stepped in, they were already knee-deep into any conversation.
“It’s always great to get to know your friends on the other side of the screen. I’ve made some new friends here that I never really knew existed before,” said one of the attendees as they casually nodded at the bartender.
And it’s that sentence where I would like to center this small segment. I believe that these kind of Axie gatherings should be something common within the community. We all know our @’s but sometimes we don’t even know our faces. Getting to know the people around you can lead to great things and that can only spell good news for Axie Infinity and Sky Mavis.
These meetings are core and very much needed in the community. I love that I could help organize this one in Paris and will always be around if needed for the next. Who knows? Maybe even in your city.
