Axie Infinity recently concluded its Lunacia’s Stocking Stuffers event with 5,027 participants releasing 69,159 Axies.

The event concluded last January 3 with each released Axie gifting its owner a holiday heirloom of varying rarities. The top releaser got a special 1/1 Mr. Ube accessory, while those who placed 2nd to 20th took home a Taro mystic accessory. Coco_Bear released a total of 3,642, more than double that of 2nd placer, ffffarm, to secure Mr. Ube. Overall, Lunacians enjoyed the event, which paved the way for the first generation of accessories.

“I love the idea of giving a new sense of customization to the Axies,” Zio, an Axie Infinity content creator, shared his thoughts. “Now as there are special edition Axies we will be able to see special edition accessories. Since these are NFTs, they mean infinite possibilities of use for all games on the Ronin network. All events related to the acquisition of exclusive NFTs within my favorite ecosystem will always be welcome.”

The conclusion of the Lunacia’s Stocking Stuffers event signaled the start of accessories being equipped and traded through App.axie. According to BigYak Axie Club, a total of 189 Snowman accessories, the mystic accessory that players can get just from release an Axie, were acquired through the event. Initially, the floor price for a Snowman was around 0.2 ETH, but went as high as nearly 0.6 once players realized how rare the item was.

As of writing, the Snowman mystic accessory has a floor price of 0.3599. Check out the App.Axie marketplace to purchase these first generation accessories.

The Axie Look Book

Sky Mavis decided to hold a special event to celebrate the official release of Axie accessories, and get the community to showcase their haul from the event. Players have until 2AM EST on January 10 to participate. Players can submit as many entries as they wish, but only one entry can win a prize.

In order to join, players just need to upload a picture of their accessorized Axie on Twitter and add the hashtag #AxieLookBook on the tweet. It should also include the player’s Ronin address, a brief description of the thought process of their accessorized Axie, and the Axie’s ID nubmer.
