The recently concluded E4E Minors was the cherry on top of a week full of Axie Infinity activities in Ho Chi Minh.

The week-long event concluded with two tournaments, an Axie DoLL Grand Finals and the E4E Minors, held between March 10 to 12. Esports 4 Everyone (E4E), pulled out all the stops as they masterfully orchestrated a high quality production, that could possibly be seen as the gold standard of Axie Infinity Lan esports, complete with insightful interviews, amazing casting, and entertaining commercials.

“ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! As expected there were an endless list of things that went wrong or broke, but the team came together and solved each problem one at a time. The amount we have learned from this experience as a company is irreplaceable,” Chief, one of the organizers of the event, told the Axie Archives. “I think we exceeded everyones expectations by miles. I think adding the host aspect really leveled up the show and pushed the production team to their limits. We never rest, we never take the easy way out and that is why we were able to bring the show everyone just witnessed.”

MeatValue, formerly of QU3ST and now representing SURA, took home the E4E Minors Championship after going undefeated in the winner’s bracket of the competition. He eliminated MMG’s Bench twice in the tournament, but none sweeter than the last match.

Bench reached the winner’s bracket finals before falling to the loser’s bracket thanks to a 0–3 sweep by MeatValue. He had to then defeat Paradyze to book a ticket to the grand finals, where he had to defeat the eventual champion in two best-of-five matches to secure the victory.

Sporting very similar swirl axies in their boxes, it all boiled down to the smallest of details, familiarity of their teams, and match adjustments for a player to have the edge against their opponent. Lunacians to were treated to a neck-to-neck battle as the first match reached five games. But MeatValue made sure that there won’t be a second match as he raised the E4E trophy at the end of the day.

“First, I want to say that I am very happy to have won, I was close several times, but it finally happened. I want to thank all the E4E staff, who made sure the experience was incredible, they treated us like 10 from minute 1,” Meatvalue said in a Twitter thread in his native language. “I prepared for this tournament with ADRD since we were together in Brazil. I already knew that [he] was a crack, but I was honestly surprised by the way he approaches tournament preparation, I learned a lot and I will implement his method in the future.”

The first ever AxieDoll world championship tournament also took place during Axie Week, just before the Origins leg of the E4E minors began. Sourbeck took home the first title as he beat his friend Fabled Melon in a head-to-head matchup where both players used the same card composition.

Even if both players had the same cards accessible to them for the best of 1 AxieDoll finals, Sourbeck showed why he is an AxieDoll pro. The eventual champion was miles away in terms of gems collected, but ultimately won the title after Fabled Melon’s HP dropped all the way to zero.

With the E4E minors taking ESports entertainment production quality to a whole new level, one automatically thinks what’s next for Chief and the team.

“I cant say publicaly yet but what i will say is be ready for A LOT more [coming in],” Chief shared about their future plans. “The stars are aligning… The last years of work, networking, risk taking and believing are all coming to fruition. We will not rest until the web 3 esports scene is what we all believe it can be”
