So, what we’ve been doing in the last days to ship your AXUM earbuds ASAP?
As you know it was a LONG journey for us, with so many problems along the way that we had to solve to become the world’s best true wireless earbuds!
First the signal drops, the connectivity, the sound quality, battery playtime, portable charging case, etc’…
The GREAT news? The toughest part is over!
The PCB board, solved it about 2 months ago.
This little green board is what holds ALL companies back this days, that’s why you keep seeing our competitors pushing their launch day ( small startups and largest corporations face the same PCB issue ) and we’re proud to announce that we sorted it out thanks to our amazing ( and a bit insane ) engineers.
The only thing that takes time now is the final design of the silicone jacket and then?
we start mass production… we should be over with that during the next week :)
We expected to finish with it last week but Dragon Boat holiday in China caused a slight delay ( yes, that’s a real holiday: Duanwu Festival )
*all silicone and plastic made in China, obviously :)
What’s so unique about the design of the silicone jacket?
Unlike all other earbuds with those uncomfortable silicone hook/jacket that you see over and over again( and as you know, cause I’m sure you already bought some sports earbuds in the past, those hooks are just a useless rubber in your ear ) we knew that this hook is one of the most important parts in the design.
In the beginning we thought that it’s only going to be for men around 30 yro, then we noticed that there’s lots of demand from people under 20, women, etc’… so we had to make something to fit all ear sizes and shapes.
In AXUM we’re 11 people and all of us have different ears, so how do you make 1 model to fit tens of thousands of people?
It took us over 4 months but we’ve solved it and made something so awesome that you’ll never want to take it off not during your workout or during your shower..
You gonna love it!
How we did it?
We’ve came up with the idea of our patented silicone jacket that
combines 2 different materials inside,
the soft silicone to fill the holes in your ear and make a perfect grab, it’s like an extension of your ear.
together with the harder part of plastic to give counter support.
We do know that it’s impossible to make 1 Size To Fit All so we’ve upgraded it:
