The commemoration of the 10th of November began with the events of the battle in the city of Surabaya on the same date in 1945 where the people of Surabaya fight to defend Indonesia’s independence. To honor this historic day, Indonesia marks the 10th of November as Hero’s Day.

Our heroes’ sacrifices and selfless act still moved me to this date. I’d like to believe that with the advancement of technology, the spirit of Hero’s Day will only continue to be celebrated in various ways.

Personally, I exercise the spirit of hero’s day by working collaboratively with everyone within Indonesia’s technology ecosystem to achieve our collective vision. I believe that a strong collaborative network will give us the chance to give back to the community, and ultimately our beloved country and its people.
