“Voice of Women at Workplace”; Ayoconnect Sharing Session
On the occasion of “International Women’s Day on 8th March, Ayoconnect had an insightful discussion with Susmita Tripathy, JP Morgan & Chase’s VP of Strategy, about the Voice of Women at Workplace.
International Women’s Day is a day that commemorates the social, political, and economic achievements of women. This year, Ayoconnect celebrated International Women’s Day by having an insightful sharing session with Susmita Tripathy attended by all-female Ayoconnect employees.
During the session, Susmita shared her insights about the importance of encouragement among women. Along with that, Susmita also shared tips on how to nurture confidence, the art of negotiation, networking tips, how to create a brand for ourselves, making our mark in every situation, being mindful of our voices, and how women should be the supporters of other women.
Susmita shared “Today’s world has already been very progressive. It has pushed organizations to create regulations that are moving toward diversity, inclusion, and gender equality where women could focus on striving in their respective career trajectories.”
“However, the real challenge remains. In fact, there are only 29% of women in the workforce who are in leadership positions across the world. We still had to fight for equality and encourage women to stand up, come forward, and proactively share their thoughts whenever possible.” Susmita added.
