People with Kapha have dense, oily & smooth skin. Their eyes are large along with thick eyebrows and lashes. Kapha people are slow to comprehend but have excellent memory. However, when Kapha goes out of balance, they became more possessive, greedy & envy.
Kapha people are more likely to get connected with water-borne diseases like flu, cough & cold, sinus & diseases involving mucous. Winter is the time when there is a greater chance of Kapha can go out of balance or can increase, and hence following the Kapha-balancing dietary and lifestyle changes can help to overcome this dosha during that season.
The people with Kapha should come something light, dry as well as warm as indolent & cool Kapha needs to be expelled out with something warm. First of all, Kapha dominant people should cut-off dairy products from their diet. Along with this, Kapha people should also keep a limit on junk, oily & fried food. Dry fruits & grains such as barley, buckwheat, wheat, etc. are good to go. Fruits like apple, cranberries are beneficial for Kapha people. People can sweeten their food with raw honey or jaggery and can eat all types of spices and herbs but they need to keep a tap on the consumption of salt. seeds and beans like sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds & all the beans only except soybean are the things one can follow or include in their diet.
