Crowdfunding on Blockchain is the next step in the journey to financial inclusion & financial freedom for communities as well as individuals.
A large part of financial freedom is having your heart and mind free from worry about the “what ifs” of life. When the fear and worry vanishes then there is space for development, growth, and progress, which in turn uplifts the entire community. We wanted to help people and communities achieve financial freedom. In other words, we wanted to promote financial inclusion on a large scale. For this purpose, promoting and supporting entrepreneurship, social projects, ventures, and charities was crucial. The proven and successful method for doing this already existed, but it was not perfect and had many flaws. So we decided to take it and make it better and more accessible. Enter: Interest free crowdfunding & money circles on the blockchain through the AZ Fundchain app.
The shift from traditional funding to crowdfunding has been effective, however, inefficient. Various crowdfunding platforms such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo and Crowdfunder enable businesses to raise funds from small investors. The limitation is that only businesses with an exceptional product or service have access to such platforms and have geographical barrier as to who can participate in a crowdfunding campaign. Similarly, money circles are used by certain people as an alternative fundraising method, but again with many constraints.
AZ FundChain attempts to use blockchain technology on its platform to help anyone raise funds. It is a decentralized and transparent crowdfunding and money circle blockchain application. The focus is to reach even the unbanked communities and small entrepreneurs. The decentralized feature of blockchain will enable trust and eliminate the high operating fees required in traditional fundraising. Fueling the smart contract on the platform is the AZ token. The token will be required as fees to create or participate in smart contracts to run crowdfunding campaigns or execute moneycircles.
The need of the hour is to have alternative financial tools which eases transfer of money and protects individual rights. Both the needs can be fulfilled via smart contracts. As smart contracts protect individual rights and simultaneously sustain self-maintaining concept among all transactions.
Currently the beta version of the AZ Fundchain app is available both on Android as well as iOS app markets for free. We will be releasing the complete version of the app with all features enabled in beta at the Websummit happening in Lisbon, Portugal.

Another update we wanted to share with our community is about our Bounty distribution. We have successfully completed the 2nd and 3rd batch distribution of the bounty token today on Oct 20th 2019. Both batches were distributed together. The last and final batch of bounty token distribution dates will be announced later.
