Crowdfunding with a blockchain angle

Crowdfunding we believe plays a very important part in helping economies recover from crisis and we have build our crowdfunding platform in a way which makes it one of the most convenient ones for people when it comes to raising funds for promising initiatives.

With our new product feature modification we are holding the creators of the crowdfunding campaigns accountable to the backers of their campaigns. This is made possible through implementing blockchain into all the levels of the crowdfunding feature.

In this feature we do not directly hold the money of the backers ourselves but the blockchain tech is used to hold the money in smart contracts and it is released automatically to the creators stage by stage according to the completion of the preset milestones in their campaign. This actually helps the backers know that their money is not wasted and being used as per the promises kept in the campaign. This is a game changer as this small change brings a big difference in the way crowdfunding campaigns function with more accountability for each campaigns.

Crypto and blockchain has been the missing link in crowdfunding which can bring transparency, accessibility and accountability. Implementing these through an open system using smart contracts and blockchain will solidify the participation of both the creators as well as backers for any campaign.

The new system we are implementing gives the relation between the backers and creators a new angle with more transparency with accountability. This in turn incentivizes the creators to meet their milestones and targets with more focus as meeting the milestones is the most important factor in releasing the funds step by step. This brings more focus to the actual work in a campaign rather than the hyped up marketing around projects. The backers can also be comfortable as there is more clarity in any project they involve through this method in comparison to the traditional methods of crowdfunding.

The App is currently live on the Android and iOS app stores and can be downloaded. The Fundchain Beta version of the App is deployed initially on the Ropsten Test Network. The Testnet is an alternative Ethereum blockchain, to be used for testing. Testnet coins are separate and distinct from actual coins, and are never supposed to have any value which helps our users to test the app without any loss of real coins. The most popular public testnet is called Ropsten which is the one we have deployed our app on currently.
