Arizona small businesses are now eligible for the Economic Injury Disaster loan assistance from the Small Business Administration (SBA). Arizona’s small businesses need all the help they can get.

To apply for assistance, visit the SBA Disaster Loan Application portal and prepare to submit the following:

  • Electronic submission online
  • Signed by all applicants and principals, general partners and/or managing members owning 20% or more of the business.
  • Most recently filed, detailed explanation if they are not available.
  • Signed by all applicants and principals, general partners and/or managing members owning 20% or more of the business.
  • List of all fixed debts.

Important Information

  • From application to fund, it should take 2–3 weeks
  • Loans under $25,000 should just be a signature loan and will not require additional documentation. NO COLLATERAL REQUIRED.
  • Owners of multiple businesses cannot apply for multiple loans.
  • Businesses’ fixed liabilities, working capital, payroll, and benefits.
  • You cannot use Disaster Recovery Loans to pay off any other loan.
  • Funds may be used to pay a monthly payment.
  • No prepayment penalty.
  • Requested and preferred but would not be dis-qualifier.
  • Co-signers accepted.
  • Up to 30 years.
  • Business 3.75%, Non-Profit 2.25%.
  • Receiving business interruption or other insurance should not impact qualifying for Disaster Recovery Loan funds because it is not income.
  • Businesses with credit available elsewhere are not eligible for the SBA Disaster Recovery Loan program.
  • Businesses/Owners that have federal debt in repayment plans are eligible as long as they are current.
  • Green Card citizens are eligible.
  • Disaster Recovery Loans should be available to all businesses, even if they have only been operating for 30-days.

If you need assistance, a couple of resources are available and willing to help out (this list will be updated periodically):

I wish everyone the best during this very challenging time.
