MSBuild is the leading conference that Microsoft organizes annually. So I bet the company experiences hot times like you usually have before an important release. Those beautiful times when last-moment commits are pushed to close features and bugs. That said, we’ll unlikely hear any significant updates from Azure first half of May — everything goes to the conference 😊.

The event takes place on May 23–25. To participate online, you must register here (for free). If you’ve never attended MSBuild or other online conferences, here is my short list of reasons why you should consider doing so:

  • to ensure that the online format suits you.
  • to get a discount on Azure Cloud exams (most likely, you’ll have to pass a simple challenge).
  • to be aligned with the current context and trends in technology.

Last year’s conference brought a bunch of exciting updates, e.g., the launch of MAUI and Azure Functions integration with Azure SQL. That makes me feel confident Microsoft won’t disappoint this time too. In any case, I will traditionally broadcast the top news in future posts.
