Three days to do the job. Will Azure OpenAI succeed?

I recently wanted to automate parsing a dozen docx files with slightly different structures. Each file is a questionnaire with 4–5 answer options arranged in a table. The task was to obtain a list of questions from all the documents. These files are publicly available, so you can easily download them from here.

I dedicated three days to building a PoC so that I could decide whether to go with AI or not. The fallback plan was predictable and ordinary — implement a parser using C#.
