Celebrating Freedom in Entrepreneurship

As the nation celebrates Independence Day, we celebrate the entrepreneurs who chose to forge their own way, follow their dreams, and pave the way forward.

Entrepreneurs share much in common with the countrymen that fought for our nation’s independence. They have the courage to take an uncharted path, the vision to design new solutions to problems, and the stamina to execute … even when things don’t go perfectly.

Many of the early leaders and signers of the Declaration of Independence were also innovators and entrepreneurs, notably Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson. The impetus of the American Revolution was their desire for freedom and independence to reap the rewards of their work.

That need for freedom continues to drive today’s entrepreneurs. Owning your own business gives you the ability to control your financial success and the freedom to explore your passions, free from dead-end jobs.
