How to Be Successful With Technology in Schools

As we all know technology is evolving everyday and it is something almost impossible to get away from. Technology is used for many things such as social media, pictures, games, movies and television shows and more, all in hopes to entertain ourselves. So how are we suppose to stop getting distracted by all those things when using our technology in school? It’s simple. Just follow these steps to succeed!

1. Get rid of the Games
   The number one way to stay successful in school while doing technology based assignments is to refrain from having those fun apps that allow us to do whatever we want.
2. Organize You Life
   Use your technology to organize your assignments and the due dates. The calendar app is great for due dates and reminders for any upcoming assignments you have. Even just using your notes is beneficial as well.
3. Stay Focused
   Only use technology when necessary and allow it to be a search tool for you if need be. A good time to use it is when you have work to do and the internet can assist you if needed. A bad time to use it is when the teacher is talking or you have other things to do.
4. Behave
   You will be refrained from having any privileges if you cannot behave and control yourself on the technology. If you google inappropriate things, continue to play games in class, or just disrespect the technology and the learning environment altogether, your technology privileges will be revoked and you will be limited to what you can do.
