Last night the Rams played a game in which they defeated the Western Mustangs 105–76. As a team they hit 23 three pointers which was a new school record. Adika Peter-McNeilly hit 10 of those, setting the individual record.

Let’s rank them.

Number 10: Three ball 1

First bucket of the game, off a skip pass from Manny Diressa, nice and easy way to get going.

Number 9: Three ball 4

Able to catch the low pass, re-set the feet and drill it from the corner in front of the Western bench. Pretty nice.

Number 8: Three ball 2

Slid over to the right wing with lots of open space and time, a late closeout from Nikola Farkic and BANG. So smooth.

Number 7: Three ball 3

Once again open on the right wing, but even with a big man flying at him it’s no problem. Bucket.

Number 6: Three ball 8

Wide open in the far corner AND a late closeout after Manny sealed off Eriq Jenkins? Splash.

Number 5: Three ball 5

Floating to the right side once again, the full shot fake gets Jedson Tavernier to fly by, a calm dribble to the left and smooth stroke once again. It’s too easy.

Number 4: Three ball 10

Capping off the night with a bullet from the top of the circle, and the defeat of the body language on Alex Coote after the late contest is just nasty.

Number 3: Three Ball 7

Right in front of the home bench, Eriq Jenkins is demoralized he barely even jogs out to challenge since he already knows it’s tangling the twine.

Number 2: Three Ball 6

This one might of actually had the highest degree of difficulty. Off-balance, off the dribble and with the defender charging at him, he knocked it down with ease just before the buzzer. I know it was still in the 1st half, but this was the dagger.

Number 1: Three Ball 9

Left wide open (WTF Western) once again, Deeks knocked down his 9th three of the night to break his cousin Ryan McNeilly’s record and etch himself into Ryerson athletic history once again. Jaime Hills knew it was good the second it left his hand.

Adika’s final line could qualify as the best of the season in the OUA. 36 points on 13–16 from the field, 10–13 from beyond the arc, as well as 7 boards, 6 assists and a steal.

Manny Diressa also had a productive night dropping 21 points on 8–13 from the field including 5 threes of his own. Myles Charvis dropped 10 dimes, and Jamal Jabril made his OUA debut.

The Rams will look to continue their early season rampage on Saturday when the Windsor Lancers visit Coca-Cola Court.

More on that soon.
