We had great honor to have Matias Vaara, lead designer of Idean, to start with his absolutely useful and great advice from the front of leading UX design how to build sticking Customer loyalty. His thesis are

  • Go where your users are
  • no downloads and no manuals
  • no UI?
  • automate back-end

3. Connect to the ecosystems. There are many different strategies to choose depending on your value proposition, business model and so on.

  • strong alignment with one dominant connection, like Smartly or Beddit
  • create a platform with deep integrations, like Slack
  • integrate into all platforms, like Spotify
  • build an open API, like GoogleMaps, Helsinki

4. Learn to personalize

“Customers prefer services instead of solutions” Lassi, Founder of Pilvi

Pricing is probably one of the most difficult area for SaaS entrepreneurs.Lassi, Founder of Pilvi, and his Advisor gave us absolutely great takeaways of pricing & productization.

The best pricing & productization advisory, Lassi Virtanen, Founder of Pilvi and his Advisor talking about pricing on the stage.

The biggest sales come from your current Customers. If you don’t productize, you miss a lot: new and renewal sales and growth opportunities.

Start by evaluating the options your Customers currently have.

  1. Use multiple plans to make puchase
  2. Design a Customer Journey
  3. Use multiple plans to make purchase decision easy. 3–4 visible plans are ideal.
  4. Help your Customer to choose with name and tagline
  5. On your pricing page: Promote values instead of features. Explain how your service helps your Customers succeed and grow!
  6. Use price points to justify price
  7. Evaluate your product offering and plan pricing actively, at least once per quarter. Offering price variations can lead to an increase in sales.
  8. If no one is questioning your price, you probably sell it too cheap
