Season of the unseasonable.

All about me,
Gums growing,
Snapdragons striving,
Everyone and everything
busy with no time to waste.

Makes me
feel almost guilty,
Sitting in chair
slowly sipping
delicious coffee
watching hasty
saplings and snappys.

Some dumbo
put reminder in
calendar to
write another
newsletter!
Why?

Not as though
I’ve got
nothing to do,
Watching gums
is nearly full
time occupation,
Not to mention
demanding
snapdragons,
Then of course
there’s those
students,
Some can whinge
louder than me!
Imagine that!

Mind you
Backwater Pubs’
veritable hive of
furious activity,
Bee lazily buzzing
over crumbs from
cinnamon scrolls,
Doggles gnawing bone,
I’m preparing coffee,
Need a break,
Think about
newsletter!

Nice coffee,
Now just one
more to fortify
thoughtful creativity,
Heavens above!
Run out of
coffee beans!
Off to shops.
