Ok, so I have a beef with James Dobson. His book The Strong-Willed Child has done damage to countless children’s psyches, leaving a path of destruction in its wake. It has encouraged abusive parenting — while simultaneously creating adults who are weak Christians, afraid to think or trust themselves.
