When I began the Gospels Map project, my motivation was simple: to bring the love of Jesus into homes. As parents, many of us cherish our own deep love for Jesus. We know the comfort, strength, and guidance He brings to our lives. But in a world where traditional church attendance may no longer be the norm, I’ve often wondered: How are we teaching our children about Jesus?

For generations, the church was where many children first learned about Jesus. I remember going to church as a child. I remember learning about Jesus in the children’s classes. I also remember my parents asking me about my lessons and the discussions that followed. Church was part of my becoming a Christian. Today, more and more families are stepping away from structured church settings. How will this affect the next generation? Are we doing enough in our homes to teach our children about Jesus? Will they grow up with the same love for Jesus that we have? These are tough questions.
