I just finished watching a video about the football player who painted the Bible reference “Philippians 4:13” under his eyes in black paint before a big game.

Now that’s inspiring!

No doubt the Apostle Paul, when he wrote the words: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” was envisioning a time when a football player would need some inspiration to score a touchdown or, more critically, to avoid fumbling the ball in the final minutes of that nail-bitingly close game.

Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It’s the spiritual equivalent of a Swiss Army knife, useful in any and every situation, no matter how unimportant.
