Once upon a time
In The Land of all Things that are Shiny and Strong
There was a young knight who just didn’t belong
He was taught his whole life to believe it was wrong
To be anything other than shiny and strong

So, he polished his armor and puffed out his chest
And with all of his weaknesses rightly suppressed
He resolved in his mind that to pass every test
Was the making of men and of knights
He would trot his white horse through the streets and the lanes
Rely on his strength and his wit, and his brains
And success was the outcome of all his campaigns
So he rose to spectacular heights

He would mock lesser men with his confident pose
He would climb up the ladder and scale the walls
Any man in his way, he would deftly depose
He would march into battle and win
Then he’d ride up the mountain and gather along
With the men who would offer their worship and song
To the Lord who rewards all the shiny and strong
But condemns all of those in their sin.
