Okay, okay… I shouldn’t have clicked that link on BuzzFeed.
It led me to a survey entitled, “How long would you survive in a zombie apocalypse?”
I’ll admit I took the survey.
The results were not pleasing.
It turns out that I would succumb to the rising tide of undead villainy in a reasonably quick time, owing to my reluctance to chop off my own arm, my limited knowledge of wild mushrooms, and my unwillingness to eat canned food with no expiration date.
What would BuzzFeed know?
This survey got me thinking, though. Even though zombie apocalypses are quite rare—having never occurred in human history—you just never know when one is around the corner.
It’s kind of like a plane crash. No one expects to be in one, but it pays to be prepared. So, rather than ignore the threat, I spent a few minutes making some mental notes on my plan of action.
You might hide in your basement.
You might hide out in a cabin in the woods.
Heck, you might even have some bunker that you’ve dug in your backyard because you’re an avid prepper who was right…
