Everything you need to know about being featured or profiled on the Badge Summit social channels!

The community is what makes the Badging Summit unique, and summit organizers are committed to elevating community projects, stories, and people on our social channels!

Writers for the Summit regularly feature people, projects, and innovative practices from across the community on our Medium publication and social channels. Here is a quick guide for how to be featured, as well as how to share your content so we may reshare it.

Where can I follow the Badge Summit?

You can follow us at the following digital spaces and channels:

What is the official hashtag for the summit?

#BadgeSummit is the official hashtag for the summit. Use the hashtag on all your content to be streamed into the summit community social stream.

Will you retweet or reshare my content?

We love to reshare community content. If you tag the Badge Summit on Twitter, LinkedIn, or Medium, we’ll review your content and add it to the curation list for reposting. We receive a lot of tags so can’t guarantee that every piece of content is reshared. Yet, we’ll do our best to reshare your content.

How do I get featured or profiled in the Badge Summit Medium magazine?

We’re always looking for great projects, innovative practices, and inspiring people to feature in the Badge Summit Medium magazine.

If you’d like to pitch an idea email us at badgesummit@colorado.edu and a member of the team will reach out to you to learn more. In your email:

  1. Share who or what you want the article to be about — a project, practice, idea, or person/group.
  2. Why do you think it would be of interest to the Badging Community?
  3. Where can we learn more? Share a link to a website or article.

Who do I contact if I have any questions?
