Everything you need to know about the Badge Summit @ CU Boulder!

What is the Badge Summit?

The Badge Summit is a 2.5-day event (with pre-conference webinars and online experience) committed to bringing together some of the brightest and most inspiring Digital Badge thought leaders on the planet for highly interactive learning and sharing.

What is unique about the Badge Summit?

The community is what makes the Badging Summit unique. The summit is an annual gathering of people brought together by their commitment to an open, inclusive, and accessible world where everyone has access to, and the right to be recognized for — their skills, competencies and capabilities, their behaviors, contribution, and even their social capital or reputation. It is a community of very clever and kind souls committed to exploring how technologies such as badges, micro-, and other forms of digital credentials can serve to make what is often invisible or missing from/within our recognition systems — visible and useable.

The Badge Summit community is committed to exploring how our reognition systems work, could work differently, and who and what they could truly benefit.

When was the first Badge Summit?
