A month ago we rolled out the beta version of Badges, a platform that makes it easy to create and send digital collectibles (also known as “badges”) to help you drive your marketing goals forward. Built with blockchain technology, badges are ownable, permanent and transparent which means anyone can see who created the collectible and who owns it at all times. Whether it’s to celebrate a workout, commemorate attendance, appreciate a donor or send a voucher, we’re excited to see how businesses use the platform. Since our announcement, we’ve been listening to your feedback on how to make the platform even more useful for your business and today we’re rolling out some updates to help.
Reach more customers with our Business plan
Sending more badges to more customers is key to increasing customer engagement and driving brand loyalty. To expand your reach, we’re introducing a Business plan subscription that starts at $15 / month and enables you to create and send up to 1,000 monthly badges to your customers. In addition to all the features from the Free plan, we’re also including chat support and the ability to view the email addresses of people who claim your badges. Explore a new way to capture leads
QR codes continue to be a popular and effective way to get customers to interact with content. They are engaging, inviting and interactive. To help you take advantage of this, we now generate customized QR codes for your badges to help you capture leads and drive engagement for your business.
For example, if you are a retail store, print out the QR code and place it at checkout for anyone to scan and claim your badge. Or, if you are sending a newsletter to your customers, include the QR code in your content as a fun way for your customers to engage.
When people scan and claim your badge, they will feel more connected to your brand because they “own” your digital collectible. For Business plan subscribers, you can view the email addresses of everyone who claimed your badge to help you gain insight on who is engaging with your brand. Whether they are new leads or loyal customers you can reach out to them via email to continue the conversation or, if applicable, fulfill a reward like a discount or perk.
Drive customer demand with scheduled drops
Creating a sense of urgency for a promotion, product or service offering helps drive demand and customer engagement. It’s one of the reasons why flash sales and shopping holidays such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday are so attractive and successful. To help you re-create this feeling and drive more demand for the badges you make, we’re introducing “scheduled drops’’ which enables you to set a start and end time to when your customers can claim your badge.
