
Attorney General and judicial delegation visit the UK

Manama, Nov. 1 (BNA)—
The Attorney General led a joint delegation from the Public Prosecution and Special Investigation Unit to take part in training sessions to be held by the Crown Prosecution Service. The General Attorney of the Juvenile Prosecution went to visit juvenile care centers and shelters and get updated on cutting edge judicial applications and juvenile criminal lawsuit procedures.
The visits come within the framework of judicial cooperation between Bahrain and the United Kingdom.
The Attorney General’s visit includes practical sessions on investigations into cases of allegations of torture, ill-treatment and inspection of prisons. The program visit also includes carrying out field visits to the Public Prosecution Office and police headquarters in Northern Ireland.
