HM King Hamad receives US-CENTCOM Commander

Manama, Oct29(BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has today received at Al-Sakhir Palace Commander of the US Central Command (US-CENTCOM) General Lloyd Austin, marking his visit to Bahrain. HM the King hailed deep-rooted relations bonding the two friendly countries and peoples, commending joint coordination and steadily-growing cooperation in various fields, as allies and partners.

HM the King affirmed keenness on developing relations of friendship and growing cooperation on all levels, particularly defence and military ties. He reiterated Bahrain’s stance in support of efforts which aim at consolidating security and stability in the region for the sake of its peoples.

He hailed the crucial role played by the US in maintaining international and security, commending the efforts of General Lloyd Austin to bolster joint cooperation between his country and Bahrain. HM the King and the US-CENTCOM Commander discussed current regional and international developments.
