Twenty-five violations referred to the Public Prosecution

Manama, Oct30 (BNA)Twenty-five violations cited in the National Audit Office (NAO) Report have been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action.

The Coordination Committee which was set up by the Cabinet had referred the cases to the General Directorate of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security for legal action.

The General Directorate of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security director-general affirmed keenness on fostering transparency and probity and protect public money.

The General Directorate of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security is member of the work team in charge of reviewing and scrutinizing the remarks cited in the (NAO) Report.
