We’re happy to have strengthened our design team with Ianthe’s arrival at our Amsterdam office.

Originally from Belgium, Ianthe studied philosophy and anthropology before becoming an image editor at NRC, a Dutch national newspaper. From there, she moved on to a digital agency and transitioned to a senior design role. She has a strong interest in typography, having completed a type design course at the Plantin Institute in Antwerp. Furthermore, she did a year-long residency with a design collective at the Van Eyck Academy in Maastricht.

We’re hoping to learn a lot from her experience doing art direction and product design for large companies (like KLM, Air France and Philips), as well as the time she spent coaching junior designers.

During the brief time Ianthe has been with us, we’ve found out she despises any organised form of partying, a feeling we’re willing to try and shake off for our next company get-together. Outside of work she likes to practice yoga, read books, or go on a long hike — interests she named elderly, but which we applaud to the fullest.

Welcome, Ianthe!
