Our office in Amsterdam keeps growing. This time we have three cross-disciplinary profiles on board.

Mar Ginot is a designer trained especially in Information Design and visual narratives. She’s interested in dealing with complex topics and posing big questions, before untangling and reorganising them into visual and understandable formats. Outside of her field, she prefers qualitative research and a visual approach to information, as numbers aren’t really her thing.

Mar Ginot

Born and raised in Barcelona, Mar’s favorite activity is to spend long hours on Mediterranean beaches, where the water is always warm and the salt stays on her skin. She also likes to read books and watch stuff, though Mar spends most of her time with her mind in the clouds, looking for the next film to watch, or the next book to read.

Before joining BB, she spent two years at a branding agency, graduated in Information Design and co-founded an information studio called The Anderen. Mar was recently a guest tutor at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, a small city that offers a lot more than initially expected.

Kalok Yeung

Kalok Yeung has been a Digital Designer for seven years at Bravoure, where he specialised in cultural and commercial projects. At BB, he will work closely with our brand and creative communications team, crafting websites with a focus on digital storytelling.

He has a keen visual sense and passion for all things related to imagery, as well as experience with motion design. Outside of work, his storytelling also comes across in the Spotify playlists he makes. He has one for every occasion. When he’s not customising what to listen to, he roams the web for beautifully curated design furniture — preferably Italian vintage pieces.

And, speaking of beautiful; Kees is Kalok’s cat. He is a Ragdoll with his own climbing pole where he can sit and watch his room mate cook vegan Mapo Tofu and other types of delicious dishes. Kalok’s roots are in Hong Kong, which he think’s is the reason to why he’s such a foodie.

Callum Copley

Callum Copley has been working as a designer, writer, editor and researcher for almost ten years and will join BB as a Creative Copywriter, a role that will make use of all his experience.

While originally from the north of England, Callum got his BA from London College of Communication before continuing to the Critical Studies Master’s program at the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam. He co-founded the research initiative Schemas of Uncertainty and has instigated a number of international writing workshop series.

Callum enjoys examining the complex cultural impacts of emerging technologies, and so it comes at no surprise that he loves to read and write Science Fiction. He is the author of the novella φιλία (2018) and a collection of short stories; Twitchers, Mucklarks and Gravediggers (2017), as well as editor of the anthology Reworlding: Ramallah. Outside of books, he spends a lot of time in nature — hiking and climbing.

Welcome Mar, Callum and Kalok. We are beyond thrilled to have you with us!
