Meet our new design and tech reinforcements
Over the summer we’ve continued to strengthen our brand and UX teams and dive deeper into immersive tech. Say ‘hi’ to three new faces in Oslo: Ben, Anniken & Gregor.

Ben Wallace
Ben travelled all the way from Denver, the city where he was born and raised, to join us. This is also where he has been based as a designer since 2010. As a graphic designer he specializes in visual identities and branding, packaging design, strategy, publication design, art direction, and digital design.
Being a self-proclaimed “professional recreationalist”, he loves all things active — like cycling, running, hiking and especially chasing his two-year old around. He listens to podcasts (subscribing to way too many of them), is fascinated by urbanism, architecture and city planning and daydreams about new places to travel.
Anniken Frich
Anniken is originally from Drøbak, and holds a B.A. in Product Design from Oslo Metropolitan University and an M.A. in Interaction Design from Oslo School of Architecture and Design. She worked as a UX designer at tech consultancy Sopra Steria before joining Bakken & Bæck, working on projects for Legemiddelverket (The Norwegian Medicines Agency), Nokas, Helsedirektoratet (the Norwegian Directorate of Health) and Arkivverket (National Archives of Norway).
When she’s not making user friendly solutions she makes other stuff, like knitwear or ceramic vases while dreaming and thinking about outer space. She loves turning complex matter into easy, understandable products, making her a perfect fit for Bakken & Bæck.
Gregor Finger
Gregor is a creative technologist focusing on interactions. He has previously explored the future of mobility working with BMW, IAV Automotive Engineering, Hamburger Hochbahn and Hardt Hyperloop, at IXDS and PCH Innovations. Moreover, he has been part of advertising projects for Audi and Philips Light during his time at Nerdindustries.
Gregor is fascinated by how humans perceive reality and the environment around them (you rarely see him without a VR headset attached to his head) and he is already exploring immersive technologies on internal and client projects at Bakken & Bæck.
He is now planning to bless Norway with his weird and funky techno dance moves, which he carefully invented and cultivated during his five years in Berlin. We can’t wait to see them put to use at our parties.
The three of them are already deep into new projects. Welcome aboard! 🤩
