Also, let’s Enjoy! April is National Poetry Month, a celebration of poetry which takes place each year since 1996.🌺💚🦋

You ask me to dance, then take my hand.
Striding widely, we enter the dance floor.

Looking into my eyes, you grin and start the dance.
Holding me close, we two-step, then step into four.

Swaying with the rhythm, moving to the harmonic beat,
Attraction sparks ignite; bewildered, I feel your rising heat!

My heart pounds in my chest as you flirtingly wink.
As the song hits its crescendo, we embrace — my heart sinks.

Graceful masculinity, like satin on silk, are your movements.
Confidently provocative, impressively spunky with stylish assent,

Leather suspenders, white shirt, bow tie, fedora dipped pompously.
Ardor’s cologne, your breath, incites in mindless jubilancy.

Evening’s magic heightens — the cadence of the sax softens,
Rhythm pulls, tempo transcends, and desire deepens.
