When I first looked up Women’s Sexual Dysfunction would you like to know the first things that popped up on my Google search? ‘Help for men.’ There’s a 14-Day retreat in beautiful Boulder, CO., that men can attend to help them, “Overcome sexual compulsions.”

And that’s why I questioned what my friend was telling me. I have heard of women’s sexual dysfunction, but my first thoughts were, “What does a woman have to do?” She doesn’t have to get an erection. She doesn’t have to maintain one in the face of criticism because she didn’t get one. Isn’t all she has to do is agree to have sex?

This would be a naive response to a very serious topic, so I believe it is real. But I am sharing with you what I thought when he first told me about his situation.
