BROOM,VROOM AND ZOOM

Mani lived in a village with her family. She loved her children very much. Her children played in the house all the time and Mani was always happy to see them having fun.

There was one thing Mani didn’t like. The kids always made the whole house messy after playing. She would clean the house every time and it made her tired.

One evening,while cleaning the house, she wished for a magical broom. She said to herself,”If only i had a magical broom to make my work easier.” The next morning, She woke up and saw a new thing in her house. It was a broom and it was very nice. Mani was surprised to see it and went near it to get a closer look. She held it in her hand and the broom suddenly became bright. It asked for her orders and she told it to clean the house. The broom cleaned the house within minutes. Mani was happy and used the broom according to her needs. The broom rested after cleaning and thought Mani is a good owner.

Soon the news spread in the village about the magical broom. Mani became famous and people would ask her help to get their homes cleaned. One day, Mani ordered the broom to clean the village playground. The playground was little far. The broom went swiftly and returned late in the evening. mani got angry and asked, “Why are you so late? Come, there is still lot of work.”

The broom couldn’t rest at all and it became very tired. Next morning, Mani ordered the broom to clean the village temple. The broom got a little angry but nevertheless, did the job. It came home late again.

The broom was very tired and was very sad. It decided to escape from the village but didn’t know how. It saw Mani’s children playing and thought of a plan. Mani’s kids were friends with the neighbouring kids and the broom sent them to play with them. Mani’s kids were well known for making lot of mess and soon, the neighbour’s sought Mani’s help to clean their house.

Mani told the broom,”Clean their house and come back soon. You have to again clean the village temple because there is a puja this evening. Clean their house properly and neatly. Did you understand?”

The broom nodded and went to the neighbour’s house. It cleaned the house and noticed that the family was busy making preparations for the puja. The children were asleep and at once, the broom gained the speed and ran outside and kept running until it went far away from the village. The broom was relieved and kept going in the direction that it could find.
