BallerTV, the premier streaming destination for youth sports, announces today its movement into field sports with the acquisition of fellow youth sports filming and recruiting service, NextPro. This acquisition will combine BallerTV’s unparalleled indoor sports streaming capacity with the growing outdoor footprint of NextPro, which places a focus on large-scale youth recruiting events in soccer, lacrosse, baseball and softball. NextPro’s exclusive rights to nearly 400 of the top soccer and lacrosse event operators coupled with BallerTV’s streaming capabilities will provide added value to existing subscribers and help realize the company’s mission of connecting communities through the unifying power of live sports.

“We are extremely excited to have had the opportunity to add NextPro’s leading field sports team and portfolio to BallerTV’s arsenal of services,” said BallerTV Co-CEO and Co-Founder Aaron Hawkey. “They’ve built a great business and team. I’m thrilled to work with them as we take on this once-in-a-generation opportunity in sports.”

Founded in 2013 by Craig Hochstadt and Amin Edalat, NextPro has become the leader in high-quality production and on-demand videos of youth field sports. In its eight-year history, the company has built up the largest content production infrastructure for outdoor youth sports, spanning 40 states with exclusive rights to over 150,000 games and counting.

The acquisition of NextPro will rapidly accelerate BallerTV’s ability to live stream soccer at an unprecedented scale. NextPro has exclusive partnerships with over 50 of the top event organizers in the sport across the country. Among some of the company’s key clients are San Diego Surf Soccer and all Surf affiliates across the country, the Elite Academy League, Albion Soccer, Davis Legacy and Concorde Fire as well as the Jefferson Cup.

The acquisition of NextPro continues a year of phenomenal expansion and growth for BallerTV. In 2021, the company has already live streamed over 300,000 games. Exclusive access to premier events like the Pangos All-American Camp, combined with the company’s proprietary autonomous camera technology have helped cement BallerTV’s position as the leader in youth sports broadcasting.

“We were extremely impressed with BallerTV’s meteoric growth from the moment they came into the youth sports landscape,” said Amin Edalat, CEO and Co-founder of NextPro. “”It’s exciting to align with BallerTV’s vision for the future. The sky’s the limit in this virtually untapped youth sports market, and BallerTV is uniquely poised to create countless meaningful connections in the youth sports community.”
